Making Bitcore easier to use in real life is an important goal for the Bitcore team, and this new integration moves Bitcore ever closer to this goal. Bitcore seems to gain popularity and some services start integrating BTX, for instance, Paytomat and PayByte launched Bitcore on the platform, Brazilian bill payment service Kamoney started accepting payments in BTX, and now BTCPay. We have finished the Bitcore BTX integration for BTCPay, meaning that merchants from all over the world can start accepting Bitcore as a payment method. Starting today BTCPay natively supports Bitcore BTX! Native support means that Bitcore is using full nodes and that the payments are direct. Users are able to try Bitcore integration for their stores, and to pay an invoice in BTX.
Merchant adoption of cryptocurrencies around the world is already growing at a rapid rate, and Bitcore has been a part of that trend. BTX is accepted at 300+ merchants around the world and growing, acquiring and spending BTX is becoming easier, which makes Bitcore acceptance more convenient for business owners. It’s an exciting case to be integrating to BTCPay, the cryptocurrency industry’s premier payments solution, to help provide merchants. In this way, we continue to expand the BTX ecosystem. As far as we are aware, following merchants implemented this open-source payment processor which means that these merchants can start accepting Bitcore as a payment method.
